Neurodiverse Teens and Adults

Skills Coaching

Skills coaching addresses all relevant domains of holistic health through peer support that centers the unique goals of the individual. Sessions may include: emotional processing and support, neuroaffirming social and life skills, creation of sensory profile and corresponding supports, executive functioning supports, career planning, and more. I provide text encouragement and check-ins between sessions. As a trauma survivor and biracial Indigenous woman of color on the spectrum with chronic Lyme Disease and a neurological disorder, I experience intersections of disability and chronic illness as well as marginalization along lines of gender, race and class. I feel confident providing support in any of these areas.

How do I define neurodiverse? A minoritized neurotype, or brain-based lived experience, that is at odds with and challenges oppressive societal standards of normality and typicality. The following are examples of neurodiverse populations with whom I work: people with autism, ADHD, PTSD, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, such as OCD, depression, anxiety and more. I accept self-diagnosed clients.
